Happy Birthday Kaylee Bug

Kaylee turned 3 on November 21. Kaylee loves birthdays so we wanted to give her a really fun 3rd birthday. Things didn't really go as planned but she still had a good day.

The first thing Kaylee said when she woke up was, "Can I open my presents now?" She was pretty excited so I let her open a few things to play with throughout the day. We then headed to Springfield to get Kaylee's picture taken. I think half of Springfield decided to get their pictures done too. We were stuck in the mall for a lot longer than expected but Kaylee didn't seem to mind. Our next plan was to go to Jump Mania to let her play but the other half of Springfield decided to bet there. So, plan B was to go to the zoo. Well, we arrived at the zoo 15 minutes before closing. Kaylee was ok about not being able to go to Jump Mania but not being able to go to the zoo was almost too much. We felt so bad we asked if she could go in for 15 minutes because it was her birthday. They let us go in for free! Kaylee and I made a quick little tour of the zoo and she loved it! After the zoo we headed back home for more presents and cake & ice cream with friends. It was good to have all our friends over for her birthday. She loves parties so having everyone there was exactly what she needed to end her big day.
