I just wanted to thank my husband, Dave, brothers, Kenny and Jordan, and sister-in-law, Jamie, for helping me Friday night! I am on the Stake Activities Committee and we put on the big event for the year on Friday....The Valentines Ball. Dave and I and the kids were at the church until 11 Thursday night setting up....it was only us and Bro. Daines and his wife from the committee there, and then it was back to the church at 3 on Friday. Once again, it was just us until about 4 or 4:30 when 3 other people showed up. We still had a ton to do and only 2 hours until the thing started. So, I called my brothers to see if they could come help. Thankfully they were very willing and they helped us get things finished up. There is no way we would have got it all done in time if it wasn't for them, so thanks!! I have a GREAT family and I am so grateful they are always so willing to help out!
{Get this...this couple on the committee showed up at 7 (the thing started at 6:30) and asked what they could do to help....we just looked at them like....where do you think all this came from...anyway, they ate, I think they might have helped with some games, and then do you think they stayed to clean up?? NOPE.....seriously people!...geez!}
My poor little kids were SO good for me on both nights! I couldn't give them very much attention and they had two very late nights, but I couldn't have asked them to be any better for me.....and thanks to the Gledhills and Knightons for helping with the kids!
I am just glad it is over!! (It has been a year Jed....**HINT HINT** ha...jk, I like my calling)

Oh man, I had no idea that you guys had to do so much...I thought your job was the DJ, who knew that was only the beginining. Your a good sport to magnify your calling into the late hours of the night with two kids...I don't think I would be so noble. I wish we could have been there to help and enjoy.
