I have been amazed how much busier life becomes when your child has places to be...and it is only ONE child at 2 yrs of age! Anyway, it has been fun to see Kaylee interact and grow every week in her different classes.
Jumpy Class (Parent-tot Tumbling)
I HIGHLY recommend this class. It is SO much fun. The class is on Friday mornings at High Point Gymnastics. Kaylee absolutely LOVES this class. The teacher is great with the kids and really gets into it. She sets up little obstacle courses for the kids and plays an animal game that is Kaylee's favorite!Swimming Class (Parent-tot)
Tues and Thurs nights Kaylee had swimming lessons. This class was about teaching the kids to get used to being in the water, laying on their backs in the water, and putting their face under water. Kaylee was VERY hesitant at first but by the end would jump in the pool and go under the water when she did jump. Kaylee's favorite part of this class was the "horsey song". The kids and parents would get on a noodle, form a circle, and ride a "horse" while singing a song. It was a lot of fun.Singing Class (Kindermusic ABC Music and Me On the Go)
This class is GREAT! The kids sing, dance, and do actions to songs. Kaylee just sat and watched for the first session but became very active and involved by her last class. (We hope to sign her up for the next session if we can get in) This is held on Tues nights at Logan High. Along with the class we received a CD with all the songs for her to practice at home and a train whistle that is a lot of fun for the kids.
