Favorite Part of Summer!

Going to Bear Lake is our #1 favorite thing to do during the Summer!  We look forward to it every year!  We have so much fun spending the day at the Lake and just hanging out...but that is only the beginning!  It gets better as the day goes on!  We have some friends that spend their summers in Bear Lake.  Our friends Tanner & Whitney own the Quick 'n Tasty and Andy & Sharli own Pickleville.  We have a blast!

The Quick 'n' Tasty has the BEST shakes & Fries around!  You have to try them out if you head on over to Bear Lake.

We were able to hang out with the Hunsaker's for a little while.  It was so good to catch up with them and to see their little Lily!  They are such a cute little family and Lily is so dang cute! (hope it is ok I stole a picture from facebook)

Kaylee is a little trackster!  She loves to run!  There were some rocks across the park (see picture below) that Kaylee ran to and from 3 TIMES!  She was on her 4th lap but it was time to go.

Kaylee also had a little run in with a snake!  Well, her mom did too.  We were on our way to the bathroom when I saw a snake...I ran away and left poor Kaylee to fend for herself.  Dave had to go get her out of the bathroom (don't worry, the snake was outside the bathroom).  Well, I was smart and stayed away but Dave and the kids decided to play with the snake.  It was just a water snake...but still...I no likey!  Anyway, Kaylee wanted to touch it and as she did, the snake grabbed onto her finger.  She was more mad than hurt.  She started yelling at the snake, through her tears, and told it it was a bad snake.  Dave made sure the snake learned that no one messes with his little girl and threw it at a tree and then onto the road to get run over.  Don't mess with daddy's little girl!

After hanging out with the Hunsaker's, it was off to Pickleville.  We LOVE Pickleville but really missed seeing the Kings there.  They are the best part of Pickleville!  Especially when they are in the show!  Luckily, we were able to meet up with them a different day!

This is Andy and Sharli with Cole when he was born.  They now have 14 month old twin girls who are the cutest, sweetest, little twins ever!  AND, Sharli is pregnant!  YAY!  We are so excited for them!

Kaylee and Cole were so tired that they passed out 2 minutes down the road.  For those of you who know Bear Lake, they were asleep before the 4 way stop after leaving Pickleville.  They had a great day!
