We took Kaylee to Cookie Cutters to get her hair cut. She has some crazy cowlicks and some thin spots and I just didn't know what to do with it...so, I thought it would be fun to get her hair cut into a little bob. I was so nervous about it because there was no turning back once that first cut was made. It actually made me sick as I saw her hair fall to the floor. I was sure I made a big mistake....ya I know it is just hair, but still. I was sick.
She had fun with the whole experience. At first she was confused because I told her to NEVER cut her hair because we wanted it to be long....and she wanted long hair like Anna (my little sister), so it took some convincing. We had to show her a picture. The picture helped me and Dave too.
Kaylee got to choose which car she wanted to sit in. Of course she chose the pink one, and she chose a princess movie to watch.
Cole had fun too!
They lady couldn't style her hair because they lost most of their power while we were there. Kaylee's movie wouldn't work, the hair dryers didn't really work, and the helium didn't work for the balloons. Kind of a bummer. But, she still did get a balloon, without helium, and a sucker. She was happy. BUT, at this point, I still thought I made a mistake.
While Dave went to an ATM (because they couldn't run his card), the kids played. Minute by minute, the hair cut began to grow on me.
And now, I love it!

Super cute! What a fun style for her. I know what you mean about feeling sick. We cut Kira's hair at home. It seems like we always end up with it shorter than I plan on. But like you said, it's hair and it grows :)
Does it just dry naturally like that? She is one lucky girl! The cut is adorable! I probably would have panicked, too. I actually know I will whenever we cut Jayci's for the first time. But it turned out so great.
