Believe or not people....Jenna (Poulsen) Eskelson completed a triathlon! While i was biking I was thinking to myself...."Who woulda thought Jenna would do a triathlon? Not me....not in a million years....Coach Dryden would be so proud." For those of you who may need some background here ...I HATE to run just to run. I probably complained every single day during our SVU softball team runs at 6 in the morning. I never thought I would run a 5k and def NEVER a triathlon....and to pay to do it....ARE YOU KIDDING ME??Well, things have changed my friends. I even ran 3 miles yesterday just for the heck of it....WHAT!?? haha...anyway, I was very proud of myself for doing it and not stopping once. My goal was to finish in 2 hrs but I did it in 1 hour and 29 minutes....AND I beat Dave by 3 seconds...oh ya....Dave....he did it too :-)
Good 'ol Dave was a sport and did it with me. He didn't train and he had a mt bike. Poor guy. He even did it blind....not joking....he lost his contacts on the first lap down the pool and this kid IS blind as a bat!! He is the one who really deserves the praise. Thanks Babe for keeping me company during the whole thing! Love ya!
Sidney and Evelyn also competed in the triathlon. They were part of my ultimate loser team. (more to come on that) I was so proud of them! Especially Sidney, I almost cried when she crossed the finish line! She was amazing!
And finally, thanks to Felice, my trainer, who pushed me to get into good enough shape to compete in the triathlon. It was well worth it!
CAN WE SAY I AM NOW OFFICIALLY A TRIATHLETE??!? WOOT WOOT!

That is so awesome. I seriously can't run at all. I have been training myself every morning for the past month just to run half a mile without stopping, and I honestly can barely make that. Good for you. That is so cool.
Wow! That is so awesome that you did that. I have always wanted to do one, but I am not one for swimming. You are an inspiration.
