This is a very commone scene when Kaylee goes to bed and wakes up. She has to have all these toys, bears, and dresses with her when she goes to sleep. Sometimes if she is too tired she will forget but not for long! She'll have a pile there by morning when I go to get her. Sometimes she is curled up in the tiniest little ball with all her stuff around her. Maybe I should explain to her that she would have more room to sleep if the toys stayed in there bin until she woke up.

That is so cute. Isn't it so neat when your mother in law leaves a journal for her children and her life, for everyone to read? Grant's mom passed away in a car accident when he was only 8 yrs old. I was so so glad that she left behind a journal for each child, and one about her life. She was simply amazing. I cried the entire time I read it and felt her spirit so strong in my home. I felt so close to her. Sometimes Grant and I have the most meaningful conversations about her, and I just let him cry and get it out. I wish I could've met her in person.

It's not strange that your sweet little girl takes her toys to bed. At least it isn't to me. My boys still do that same thing, only my older ones not to that extent. My youngest still piles them on, though.
