While we were home, we were able to go to my parents' wards' Christmas party. They had fun little craft things for the kids to help keep them "contained"...which Grandma Holt would very much appreciate :-)

Both the kids had their eyes on the bag of goodies from Santa....at least Santa was looking!
My mom was trying to get them to look at the camera....oh well...
When Kaylee hopped off Santa's lap she started to cry. I asked her what was wrong and she said she didn't get to tell Santa that she wanted a Barbie for Christmas. Kaylee was pretty upset that Santa forgot to ask her what she wanted for Christmas. Luckily we were able to get his attention before having to wait in line again. The poor thing really wanted to tell Santa that she wanted a Barbie for Christmas and was worried if she didn't, she wouldn't get one. Santa was able to calm her little fears and all was well again....she did get a Barbie for Christmas!
