The BEST Christmas Present Ever!

My parents gave us the BEST Christmas present this year!  They bought us a gift certificate to The Anniversary Inn and some money for dinner.  We had SO much fun!  We didn't think we were going to be able to do it while we were home because we didn't realize they would be so full.  We should have known that there were going to be a ton of weddings and anniversarys over Christmas break.

We looked up the rooms online and saw that everything was booked in Salt Lake and there were 2 rooms open in Logan.  We decided to go in and talk to them to see if anyone had cancelled on them.  We didn't really want to waste the gift card on one of the 2 rooms they had open so we gave them a sob story. :-)....which was a true sob story.  We told them we lived in MO and wouldn't be back for a year but we would have a nursing baby by that time.  So, they gave us an upgraded room for the price of the lower level rooms.  We booked the Tipi room right away!  It was so cozy!  We loved it!

We had a round bed and it was so comfortable!  I wanted to take it with us!

We were able to spend 2ish days together without the kids.  We did some shopping to exchange my boots, we went to Grist Mill for lunch, Olive Garden for dinner, and Jamba for brunch.  We were able to hit up some of our favorite places to eat.  It was a great couple of days!  Thank you so much Mom and Dad!  It was seriously the best Christmas gift you could have ever given us.
