We headed to the St. Louis Zoo the morning after the Springfield Zoo...probably not the smartest move...we were kinda "Zoo'd" out but it was still fun to see some different animals.
On the way up, Cole started throwing up. We thought about turning around but decided he probably had too much sun the day before. The poor guy gets so hot and he is really good about drinking lots of water but it just wasn't enough.
My favorite exhibit at the St. Louis Zoo is the Hippo exhibit....well, it was the last place we wanted to go see so we made the trek to where the hippos were. It had started to rain and although we didn't want to be wet the rest of the day, we decided it was worth it to see the hippos. Well, we finally got to where the hippos were and the exhibit was CLOSED! UGH! Oh well, we got a little hike in and didn't get soaked.
