We "thought" it would be fun to go to the St. Patty's Day parade in Springfield but it was a BUST! It took us forever to find it and then once we did, we found out the parade wasn't going to start for another 2 hours. SO...we went for a walk over this bridge....real exciting!.... and then we looked around at all the "crazies" roaming around the streets getting ready for the parade. It was definitely a good chance to see Springfield's finest out and about! I'm sure it didn't help that the pub crawl was going on too!
Here are 2 of the many who dressed up for the event. We saw some interesting things! Dogs were spray painted, people were spray painted and dressed up in all sorts of weird things....I guess it probably was a good thing we were so early....who knows what 2 more hours would have brought! HA!
