A Day of Feasting

Our first dinner was at Eskelsons. There was SO much food and it was all SO good. Dave's aunt made these apple dumplings that were to die for! (The recipe can be found @ http://www.hungryhungrybloggers.blogspot.com/) I won't tell you how many I ate. :-) They are now a MUST at Thanksgiving!

We had a good time visiting with Dave's family and playing outside. The weather was SO nice so we were able to burn some of the food off and make room for pie! Yum! After pie it was time for games. I just have to say that I WON at scum. (haha Lynn)

Cole got bit by Dave's 1 yr old cousin twice on the head. Poor little guy! We knew she got him once but didn't realize she got him twice until after he woke up from his nap and he had two marks on his head. You can't tell in the picture but there is one on his forehead and one up by his hairline.

After lunch at the Eskelsons we headed back to Smithfield to say hi to my grandparents then it was time for round 2. Oh My! Once again the food was SO good. My mom puts her turkey in a crockpot and it is SO moist and tender. I love it.

Kaylee loves Elk and Bucks. Wonder where she learned that? Anyway, there is an Elk farm near Preston so we always have to stop to show her the elk when we go up that way.

After dinner with my family we went to wish G&G Holt a happy Thanksgiving. We weren't able to make it to their dinner but it is always fun to stop and visit with them! Kaylee loves going to "other one" grandma and grandpa. If we pass without stopping she gets pretty upset. It is crazy how she knows! She loves her grandparents!
