The Goodman's invited us to go to Branson with them December 3-4 '09. It was a blast! It will be something we will never forget. Even though it was freezing cold, we had so much fun and are very grateful to the Goodman's for taking us with them.
Our trip began with Kaylee going to the ER....(previous post) and then it went way up hill from there. We spent Thursday night hanging out at the Condo. We had deer bratwurst that were to die for....seriously, it was the best hot dog I have ever had and then we played Settlers of Catan while the kids watched a movie...hard to beat a night of playing Catan!
The next morning Dave had school so he took off early in the morning to make it back for class. In the meantime, the rest of us had breakfast...which was really, really good, and then we went on a little tour of Branson. We even got to see Santa's reindeer!
Next up - Silver Dollar City....which was an absolute blast! Dave was able to meet up with us in SDC. Everything was just so neat and fun! We went to the crazy house, rode on the gun ride 4 or 5 times, played in the kids area, went to a show - "A Christmas Carol", and watched the amazing Christmas tree light show. It was all pretty spectacular. It was so great that my parents gave us season passes to Silver Dollar City for Christmas! We are so excited to go back and once again...Thank you Goodmans for such a great weekend!
