The trip HOME

Traveling home made for a long day but I was saved by an amazing women who helped me the entire day! I met Shannon on the flight to Denver. She sat across from us and fed the kids smartees when they started to get a bit restless. When it came time to get off the plane she helped me carry my luggage. This poor women was older and had her bag to carry plus mine. She had to stop to take breaks every now and then because, of course, our connecting flight was on the other side of the airport. She even stuck with me during the lay over. We had 2 hours to burn and 2 kids who were sick of sitting. She volunteered to watch our stuff while I let the kids run wild. It would have been very hard to lug around all our stuff, go to the bathroom, and let the kids run. I was so so grateful to her! After she helped me on the plane I figured she would be done helping us but she didn't stop there. Once we landed in SLC, she once again, took one of my bags. As we were waiting for our luggage I found out that my brothers were running late because of snow. So, I was stuck in the airport with the kids for another hour. This sweet lady WAITED with me until my brothers arrived. I'm sure she was anxious to get to her own family and to see her grandkids she was there to visit but she stayed with me. I will always be so grateful to her for helping me that day. I hope she receives countless blessings for all she did for me that day. Thank you Sharon for being my guardian angel that day!
