Date Night w/ Anna

This year instead of drawing names for our family gift exchange, we drew names of someone in our family we were going to "go on a date" with. We drew Anna.

Our first stop was at the mall to see Santa Clause. Anna, Cole, & Dave didn't mind sitting with Santa, but Kaylee refused to sit on his lap...even though she was so excited to see Santa.

Then we thought it would be fun to take Anna to the Fun Park to play in the soft play. We were wrong...apparently Anna is afraid of heights, so we ended up at McDonalds.

I don't think we'll be getting a 2nd date!

It was fun spending a night on just Anna and will be a fun tradition to have during Christmas. We decided that it would be more meaningful to create memories instead of exchange gifts that we don't even remember a year later.
